Very well made, very fine shavings

It’s very easy to set up to take very fine shavings, but impossible to set up to have it hog off material as the mouth opening is not adjustable.

Having very little experience with spokeshaves, after some practice I found this beautifully made tool a joy to use and I have since ordered and received the curved sole version.

An exceptional tool. I had a certain amount of buyers remorse after purchase despite already having bought several superb planes from Terry as I had not had much experience with spokeshaves and what little I did have was not all that favourable. This spoke shave changed all of that - it is a positive joy to use and I could not list the number of uses I’ve put it to. It now lives within arms reach on the bench.
