I wanted the performance of the Yoshimura slip-on, but not necessarily the loudness of the exhaust. The original exhaust was loud enough to keep my ears ringing with earplugs and wind noise. This db-killer brought the sound down to a little louder than stock, which is what I wanted in my neighborhood.
