Great Breathable Hat

I purchased the Chesapeake Straw Hat to using boating and fishing. I was impressed at how cool it keeps your head by allowing air circulation. I added a chin strap to use when out in our ski boat. All around great hat!!

Great hat!

I used the pads to make it smaller because I’m on the smaller side of L/XL. I use it to mow in. With the vent holes it allows a breeze in and keeps my head cooler. My head doesn’t sweat as much either. It also looks great and it’s easy to shape the brim.

Nice crown height, great style

I like this hat. Style is great, crown height is tall enough to stay comfortably above head instead of being too shallow. Straw is good for the hot summer weather. I had to add double sizing foam pieces under the band to down size enough to fit small enough. If you had a size small instead of medium it would have been best. I guess you do not mske it in small. I hot glued the foam one once I got the fit right, then I customized the band with crystals.
