Fits really good. True to size. Made really good. I ordered size small and it fits nice and snug, so it does not blow off very easy. Always measure your head before you get one.

Really enjoying it - protection from the winter weather

I've never owned a hat like this before and it took several months to decide to do it. So glad I did! The idea of an oilskin hat first came on my radar after a hiker posted about his extensive hat collection - and why. It all made sense, and this style appeared to meet my needs. I don't see folks around here wearing these, probably because of the lake effect wind, but the strap that came with the hat keeps it secure, plus it fits snug. The hat does a great job of keeping me warm and dry in inclement weather. Also, I greatly appreciate the wide brim as it tones down the sun and reflection off the snow on brighter days. I usually add a wool headband on colder days for extra warmth.

Well made! Solid. Will keep my head nice and dry in the rain, in style! Very happy.
