Definitely runs big, but seems like a great hat!

Nothing about the hat, but the size

I bought the hat in a medium size because my head measures 7 1/8 inches. When I received it, it was way too big. Not even two hat sizing strips would have helped. I requested a return for the hat, which they exchanged, and explained that I should measure my head before ordering. They also mentioned that they have several suppliers, and their hats can differ in size from supplier to supplier. That is a QUALITY CONTROL PROBLEM, not a head size problem. Anyway, I ordered a small one hoping it might fit, but it's too tight. This is one of the reasons I prefer to order fitted hats. By the way...I own two River Guide hats, which I LOVE. So I am not trying to diss Outback.

I really like this hat, everything about it so far. Size is pretty good, I put the spacer foam in the back, didn't use the sticky, so can take it out. These might run a tad large. This shape, & style is just what I needed for my line of work, & lifestyle, not a cowboy, NW working person. Very happy w/ this so far.
