Just astonishing!

I have the Halo-III dampers on all of the tubes in my system (AM 833S Ultima monobloc amps and Lampizator Horizon DAC) - other than the 833 and CCA tubes (they haven't been available). So I decided to order the Ultrasonic RX dampers for those remaining tubes. I ordered two sets for the 833s, so that I could completely surround them, as they are so large and thick. Those of us who spend our time and energy optimising our systems know how much every small improvement can cost. In a ~$400K system, those RX dampers just blew my mind! The most obvious improvement is significantly improved sustain and a much deeper more three-dimensional soundstage. But there's also greater texture and definition to (particularly) low end and even better 'presence' to vocals. Quite the revelation! And all for a tiny investment. I'm still struggling to believe it. Highly recommended! 🙂
