Wonderfully comfortable ! Soft soles and uppers - but sturdy and very well made - and at an amazingly low price for such quality ! I first used to wear desert or "chukka boots" (with blue jeans-or even with school uniform as a sign of teenage protest ) in the mid 1960s) when they were cheap, stylishly cool, durable - and easy to find. Over the years since, this style has fallen in and out of fashion and become increasingly expensive and hard to find on the high street. But these boots from Silvermans are the real deal - great affordable quality !

Just as I remembered

I first encountered these boots as a young squaddie over 50 years ago. It’s nice to see that some things can be ageless. They’re as good as I remember.
