Browsing the Silverman's selection,I found these desert boots. What attracted me was the two eyelet style which was the original WWII design although the sole is not the original pure rubber type,it is of a more practical compound.If you've ever worn pure rubber soles on a wet surface you'll know how slippery that can be. at a good price,I just had to buy them.
