Good all round boot sock

After seeing a comment that these are not genuine, I thought I would do some research on the government assists publishing website which lists all NATO stock numbers for military contract clothing, and also cross referenced with other NSN databases. 8440-99-130-5787 (as per product image) is the correct stock number for these and it corresponds to the previous generation sock, as socks are now three sizes not a one size. The ISO 9001 mentioned by another is also correct but corresponds to the quality management system used by defense contracts. The quality is as expected this era of kit. There are a few loose threads but they can be woven back into the fabric. It does the job but bells and whistles are absent - there are no special technical names or fibres - just a sock designed for a purpose. The fit is slightly long on the toes as they are one size and I am a 9. They stay put when inside my boots and haven’t made my boots feel too snug. I use these for my current roll where I can be in my boots for 12+ hours. They can get a bit sweaty in the warm weather but I have never experienced blisters from them and my feet don’t feel uncomfortable in cooler weather. I haven’t had the black version very long but I have used the green version since being a cadet in the early 2000s Overall, considering both green and black pairs that I own, theses are a good sock for longer days in the boots where you need a cheap robust sock that isn’t going to be a loss if they get damaged at work.

not size 7 to 11 but about 13/14

Totally not as advertised, far to big, quality is minimal, knitting faults, washing hot makes them a bit smaller but usable only as house socks, stil too bulky for boots. definitely not English army issue. Whoever approved those in any army should be trailed for sabotage. If this is what soldiers get sandals are a better investment. I paid above the selling price 20 euro postage and 22 import duties, hoping to get genuine English army socks as the originals last for almost two decades with constant use. Returning means i have to pay 20 euro postage again and the refund is 30 euro. When selling something check what you advertise.

Not that good!!

Ordered my correct size & they’re way over sized, material feels like a poor wool & doesn’t keep your feet warm @ all.
