I was surprised by the good smell of the jacket. The leather is soft to the touch and combined with the liner is definitely warm enough for the winter. The jacket settled on my frame very well. The shoulders look more square than the photos, which is fine. If your weight doesn't fluctuate a lot the tailoring will make this jacket perfect for you.
