My Kassatex Experience

Recently I ordered and received a twin size all-season Kassatex down comforter. After several days of user experience I write this review to share my impressions. PROS: I found the Kassatex site easy to deal with and appreciate their fast response to questions and shipping. Further, the comforter keeps me warm during an overnight room temperature of 67 degree F. Just use a top sheet and the comforter, no cover shell. CONS: The size is not ideal for my XL twin bed mattress as it seems too long. Reducing the length by 18” would make sense. More importantly, I find the down distribution in this boxed quilt is poor at best. Some areas seem overfilled while others are lacking sufficient down and do not respond to fluffing attempts. Much of the comforter is properly filled, but the leading top edge (the one with no labels) has noticeably flat/empty “boxes”.
