Made only the Top Hat so far

Pattern for the top hat is good. The directions are fine, however I didn't really follow them as written. I have made a couple of other AG hats and they turned out well. This is what I do for a lined hat. Basically you put together two hats - the lining "hat" and the hat, place right sides together and sew around but leave a gap to turn right side out, turn right side out, push your lining to the inside of the hat, and sew close to the rim of your hat to close the gap that was left open. Much, much easier than trying to sew inside the hat to close the lining and gives a nicer appearance, I think. Also, as with many patterns, it is much better if the designers would use drawings instead of pictures to explain the steps in sewing the pattern.
