Long Dog With Short Legs

I have a Wheaten Terrier with a long body but short legs. I purchased the XL and it fit his back and neck perfectly but the back legs were to long and kept falling over his feet. He couldn't wear it without the back legs being rolled up. I would suggest a snap to keep them from falling over a short dogs feet. Other than that, the coat repels rain and keeps him dry.

When I take my dog outside while it's raining, what I really want to prevent is the dirty, gritty water from the ground splashing up on her belly while she walks. I've only found one other coat that offers this kind of coverage, and it was too uncomfortable for my dog to walk more than a few yards in. This coat covers her very well and she has gone about two miles in it without seeming too bothered. Her measurements are 22" neck to tail, 27" chest circumference, and 16" neck circumference and she wears an XL, which is pretty close-fitted when her very thick and full coat of fur is completely grown out.
