E61 Silicone Head Gasket 8mm

Hit and miss

Purchased 2 of these and installed the first one which went in. It was now time to replace it but could not get the new one in properly, always protruding on one side as if it was too large. Removed it and reinstalled a few times but it was never seating properly. On the fourth removal, it was too damaged to be reinstalled. I have been using and maintaining my ECM Giotto for 22 years and never experienced this before. I installed a Cafelat 8.5 mm that I had available, which is a bit thick, but it went in properly on first try. This Repa gasket is a lot softer than Cafelat silicone and won’t purchase again. Wish Coffee Addict still sold the Cafelat gaskets…

Perfect fit

Perfect replacement to the regular black hard plastic version for my Expobar Brewtus IV. Just hope it will last a bit longer too.

Fits Profitec pro 500 pid perfectly

Way better than the stinky EPDM black rubber OEm gasket that will, eventually harden, crumble, and give your espresso that weird "burned rubber" taste, seriously. Silicone is cleaner, seals better and makes maintenance easier. The 8mm works perfectly with VST baskets, they are slightly taller and your portafilter will not "clock' perfectly if you get the 8.5mm thick silicone gasket (in Profitec or ECM machines...)
