Oh my, what a thing of beauty! I have a few of Terry’s planes and the larger curved spokeshave, but need a smaller radius for curved legs on jewellery boxes. Already knowing the quality of these products it was still a “wow” moment when I unboxed it. Now that U.K. and Australia have a trade agreement I didn’t get hammered with import duties either and it arrived within 5 working days, which is impressive! Thank you Terry!

Excellent tool

This spokeshave is a delight to use. I find it easy to set for a fine cut and very intuitive to use. It gives a high quality finished cut once you get the hang of it (which doesn’t take long). It’s also a beautiful piece of industrial design. Well done to the designers and makers!

Quality tools always pay off

I had never used a round bottom spokeshave before and I was worried that the learning curve would have been a steep one. I decided to invest in a good quality tool so I knew I had only to concentrate on my skills and not blame the tool. I was surprised to see how quickly I was up and running, using it to shape the frames of my ship model. Definitely a keeper.
