I’m learning

I’m so glad to have found brakes for my Alpinist bindings. They require clearing snow / ice build up to function properly. A pocket knife works best to clear the pad so one can get it flat enough to align for the ski mode to engage.

Didn't quite work out of the box

One of the brakes deployed smoothly, the other is finicky... the Tech tried to fix it twice, but no change. I was informed that this was a trait of the binding, and may improve over time... but for a piece of performance gear it's a bit absurd it doesn't work out of the box. It seems that one of the pins doesn't full retract for some reason, so the deployment gets caught up. I guess something to watch out for?
