These are EXTREMELY FIRM!! The formed a very deep ring about 3 inches up in my right leg and about an inch deep. It really hurt too. If you haven’t worn compression hose before, or even one that is super strong, be weary. Maybe the soft would be a better option? Also I’ve had better luck with those. They definitely are for you if you need a more firm that the average 30-40 compression. If not, go for a size larger than you measure. Or a 20-30 compression in your size. I can’t wear the ones I ordered. So I will return for something different.
