I have worn sigvaris panty hose since 1997 when I suffered a massive blood clotting episode, requiring hospitalization and weeks of recuperation.I was unable to walk due to the swelling and discomfort. My doctor said I absolutely must wear compression pantyhose because it also involved my lower abdominal vessels. I was given the 30-40 sigvaris pantyhose. I can’t tell you how much they helped me and I only used them for several years and still use them for walking for exercise. I use the 20-30 compression for shorter periods of time and when I want to be more dressed up as they look less like leggings than the strongerg compression Ones. My heart doctor was so impressed with my hose that he wanted to get some for a trip by airplane to Israel..I have worn sigvaris pantyhose since 1997 and love how they feel and know they have prevented more DVT caused by my diagnosed blood clotting antibodies.
