Very difficult to get off

These socks are tight around the ankle and are very difficult to get off. I've resorted to tugging the heel of the sock around my heel, then putting my fingers inside the sock to push the rest over my heel. I've bent back my fingernails painfully more than once. Once off, the socks leave creases in the top of my ankle/foot -- I wonder if the socks aren't restricting circulation to my feet.

Fit well. Wash well (warm, not hot). Good support. Nice phone work to order. Pleasant people, especially Liz (if I recall correctly). Over the years recommended to patients and personally used myself.
