Packaging was perfect. And the plant looks healthy and still is after i got it about a month ago.

Black leaf blotches

The caimitoes arrived quickly, were safely packed, and a nice size. However, the leaves were covered with black blotches right out of the box. Both trees are almost completely defoliated from the leaf infection. I am hoping they will recover, but I am disappointed with their health at arrival.

Very disappointed with customer service

I recently (October 4, 2025) purchased three plants from Everglades Farm: a red custard apple, a cashew tree and a purple star apple. The last two arrived just fine but the red custard apple arrived half-dead. I gave it a couple of days to see if it would recuperate after the stress of being shipped from Florida to California. After four days it was clear that it was getting much worse and more than likely dying. At that point I reached out to Everglades Farm and asked if they could do something about it. Their response was simply that I had not contacted them quickly enough, you have to do it within 2 days of receiving the plants, and there was nothing they would do. This is the last time I will be purchasing anything from them.
