Got my axe rehung and sharpened. Everything was great. They found a handle that was almost exact to my original. Sharpened it to the point I could shave with it and all at a fair price. I could have filleted a trout with this thing. 100% would go back.

Looks great, feels great. I bought a 30” straight handle. Wood grain is perfect. The feel of the oiled handle is quite nice and gives good grip. The one thing that I would have preferred is steel cross wedges rather than the round one.

Quality stick for vintage axes

A high quality stick for a working axe. There not the most beautiful handles but there certainly handsome in there functionality and design. I bought this handle in person and in store. Of all the handles i picked through most all were acceptable. But this was the best one maybe 5⁰ off of straight. Would order again! But am a little annoyed that the stamp is so deep as i used this on a vintage axe head. Just gotta remove more handle to get the general look i wanted
