Turmeric 100% French Flax Linen Sheet Set

Loved at first but not after 2 years

We loved these sheets a first. The colour was incredible and felt super high quality linen. But after 2 years of use the colour has changed due to the natural dyes and the flat and fitted sheets are very different colours (the website claims this can happen, understandable). The sheets no longer fit the bed properly, the elastic has stretched and the sheets bunch even with the slightest movement. They're also way more scratchy than our other linen sheets the same age. I want to throw them out but can't justify it for the price which is disappointing since their website says linen can last a decade. If you're spending the money get the Sheet Society sheets or the Ecosa sheets which are way cheaper and higher quality. The elastic and stitching quality between Bed Threads and these two brands should have been a give away from the start. Photos: - bunching in hemming on flat sheet (like that since new. Not just pressed this way it's stitched offset) - difference in elastic quality between Bed Threads and Ecosa (these are bamboo but same idea) - difference in flat and fitted sheet colour (hard to capture on camera) - bunching in sheets when pulled as tights as possible by elastic, you can see the creases where it constantly bunches (I'm only a small female too). Can also see through the sheets to the lines on our mattresses. Sorry Bed Threads, I don't like giving negative reviews but this is information I wish I had when I was deciding which brand to spend $300+ on a sheet sets.
