MR2Heaven Silicone Coolant Hose Kits (Black and Red available)

These were just what the MR2 needed to clean up the engine bay a little bit. They fit perfectly, with a minor exception I'll explain at the end, and look great. I used the Gates Powergrip hose clamps, or tried to! On the heater feed they worked great, but on the larger hoses I ordered the set that was 1-5/16"-1-1/2" for the 1-1/2" hoses. These did not go over the hose "barb" so I reused the Toyota constant pressure clamps. Still look good, but not as good as the Powergrip on the heater hoses (see pics). The #7 hose fits but rubs a bit on the one shift lever (see pic). I put the foam protector back on from the OEM hose and everything seems to be fine. No wear on the foam protector after my to/from Bear Mountain (400 miles RT). I removed the J pipe vice leaving it in (by using the #7 hose). Not the most fun thing, but I saved 0.5 lbs or something. Overall, nice addition to my engine bay and replacing 33 year old rubber is just good preventative maintenance. Now to find red vacuum hose.
