Daisy – V-Neck Linen Dress with Bow Waist Tie

I love it so much! the twirl is perfect, the colour is lovely, the bow can be tied to the back or front, and the lenght is just right! it feels nice and heavy but the linen is light and not hot at all!

Another smash hit from Son de Flor! This is a dress in a different linen type to the usual one. It feels slightly softer to the touch and the texture is gently silky, which means that this fabric also has slightly less hold and drapes more softly and easily than the usual linen. Is it better or worse? To me it's neither - it's just a different type of linen with a slightly different look. I cherish all my linen garments from Son de Flor equally as they are all the high quality I have come to expect. This dress certainly doesn't disappoint - the blue shade is very calming and slightly muted, which means that this dress could work for everyday wear as well as summer events, or even in work context - for selfish reasons I would have loved if it was available in a more playful and fresh summer colour as well, like a bright pink or yellow shade, but this may still happen one day. This calming blue shade leaves the attention to the shape of the dress, which is absolutely gorgeous. The main thing to note about the Daisy dress, apart from the slightly different fabric, is that it has quite a wide tie which is attached so that you can only tie it at the back. This does look beautiful, but I find it a little tricky to tie a nice bow behind my back - especially so far down. So you might want to enlist someone with bow tying skills to help you get dressed! All in all this is a great dress and so easy to wear, a quick iron is all you need and you'll soon be out of the door and looking fresh as a daisy 🌼💙
