Oushak rug off-gassing

This rug was a huge disappointment and did not come with a notification about its content is 100% polypropylene that gives off a strong petroleum odor if not aired out for a few days before installing! I had it professionally installed a week and a half ago and it still gives off a strong smell even after treating it with baking soda!!
