Pilot Vanishing Point Fountain Pen - Blue/Gold

I love the pen. I had an identical pen years ago, but it disappeared somehow. I strongly prefer blue-black ink and always have. The medium point is perfect for me, even though my handwriting has deteriorated enormously. I am a retired surgeon! There was quite a mix-up over delivery of the pen. I paid extra for two day delivery, but, after a good deal of going and froing, it arrived almost couple of weeks after I ordered it.

Pilot Vanishing Point

The Pilot Vanishing Point is a classic that everyone should own. It is especially useful when journaling on a plane, there’s no cap to keep up with or to lose between seats. It’s easy to ‘deploy’ with one hand if your other hand is busy on a small surface like a plane or restaurant table. You can also carry a spare nib unit for multiple nib sizes without carrying multiple pens. It is a fairly large pen, so it is comfortable for longer writing sessions, but if you have smaller hands or prefer a smaller size, the Decimo should work for you.

Beautiful color and trim. Smooth action to extend the nib. The ink flows smoothly to the nib (fine). Stays wet and no scratchy writing. Love it.
