De Atramentis Blackberry (scented) - Ink Sample

Had not tried De Atramentis inks until now...

Had not tried De Atramentis inks until now, but I was already expecting a good turnout. Even though, at first, the ink colour was not my favourite, I grew to like it when using up the latter half of the sample. From this sample alone, I look forward to buying a full bottle in the future!

Wonderful

Holy cow this is a beautiful color. It flows very nicely and isn't prone to drying too quickly on the nib. It goes down as a dark purple but dries into a lighter reddish-purple. I definitely intend to buy a full bottle of it. It smells nice, too. The writing doesn't have a scent but I don't know how De Atramentis would accomplish that, anyway. Being that I don't normally sniff paper, I'm perfectly satisfied with a beautiful color.

Great Flow, Good Scent

I love this ink. I loaded it into a Nemosine Singularity and it flows great. The scent is pleasant, though it smells more like blackberry flavored candy than actual blackberries. The ink does not retain its scent once it dries.
