De Atramentis Hyacinth (scented) - Ink Sample

This was a real dark horse! I didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do, but it’s a really great vibrant royal blue ink. The scent is bold and freshly floral. Not perfumey, just like sticking your nose in a fresh bouquet. I ordered a sample and I’ll definitely be ordering the full bottle

Gorgeous color, but I wish that the scent was more pronounced and lasted longer

I love the color of this ink, but feel like the notion of it being a scented ink is a little wasted in how faint the scent is. That said, I would use this anyway as an everyday blue.

Smells lovely, but not very pleasant to write with

I'm pretty new to fountain pens, so take this review with a grain of salt. I didn't love this ink, it smelled lovely but it felt kind of watery and left me with a lot more feedback than most of the other inks I've tried so far. I will probably stick with something a little smoother like Noodlers.
