Blue & Bloom Gift Set

The blue cornmeal is wonderful; I love making pancakes (add blueberries to really get the blues!). And the prickly pear jalapeño cactus jelly—I simply can’t have enough!—I love it with cream cheese on Ritz crackers.

A couple days before my order arrived on my porch, I got Navajo Mike’s email with a blue corn muffin recipe. Well…that was the first thing I made with the Blue & Blue set. So good! The corn meal is the perfect grind (great for the muffins, but I’m also looking forward to making tamales with the blue corn meal), and the sweet & spicy Prickly Pear Jalapeño Cactus with the muffins…holy schnikes, so good!
