Ink Bottle Dark Descent Black

I recently received an order, Order #117108. It was for ink supplies and a new extra fine Nib. The order is for a Gold Nib for the Gold Pocket Pen. I received a Silver Nib, I have already contacted Ellington once to see if they can help me exchange it for the Gold Nib and have not received a reply. When I ordered the pen a few weeks ago the package arrived in damaged condition, the shipping package was literally run over by tow motor (tire treads) and had been sent with the correct address label but a new label and different address in New Jersey were placed over the top of my correct address in Indiana. Of course, that added additional time to the delivery. I really like the pen and even though the box inside the package was mashed, it still writes very well. I have been considering purchasing a different pen but I must admit that your shipping department leaves a lot to be desired.

A Wonderful Writing Instrument

Over the years, there have been many pens in my hand. The one that I prized the first and most was a Parker fountain pen. However, over time, it got lost in moves. I reverted to disposable fountain pens, which were good, but, not nearly as good as this Ellington pen. I selected an orange-and-black model for several reasons:They were my old high school colors; they are the colors of the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team, and they remind me of one of my early cars, a Gremlin. I have not yet used the pen with the fill-up ink cartridge, as I ordered 24 cartridges in black. I like the weight of the pen as well as its ease of writing. With it I have been inspired to write in a journal of my life and times in my hometown. It makes writing a true joy. A computer keyboard may be faster and have spell-check, but there is nothing like that Ellington fountain pen for a feeling of accomplished writing.
