Organic Genmaicha - Loose Leaf Tea

Maybe it just isn't for me

My first time having this type of green tea and I was underwhelmed. It's not bad but it's mostly just like drinking the smell of toasted rice. Mild to the point of not being there. Perhaps for those with more subtle taste buds than mine it's the cat's meow but I like something with a little more catnip.

Soothing & Pleasant Tea

I found this genmaicha loose leaf tea to be delightful. It is a soothing beverage that offers a unique blend of flavors and aromas. When you take a sip, the first thing you might notice is the nutty aroma, thanks to the roasted rice. It is not overpowering though. The flavor evokes feelings of relaxation and coziness. There are grassy notes of the green tea and it is beautifully balanced by the toasty, slightly sweet flavor of the roasted rice.
