Our Cashmere and Merino Wool blend socks have the perfect combination of materials and fit for amazing softness and comfort. The lightweight design is not too thin for walking around town but also not too bulky to be worn indoors. The non binding top and invisible toe seam make them great diabetic socks.

I had been looking for Canadian made wool or bamboo socks for quite a while and my local stores only carried the basic cotton, polyester, rubber and some wool socks with only 20% content. I found "The Great Sox" company on-line and ordered three different styles of sock. J.B. Field's Cashmere "Non-binding" Weekender Socks, J.B. Field's Hikers Haven Merino/Bamboo Ankle Socks, J.B. Field's Hikers Haven Merino/Bamboo Boot Socks. Then I flew to Spain and took all my new socks with me. I walked everyday all day for 2 weeks switching between the different socks. These socks, J.B. Field's Cashmere "Non-binding" Weekender Socks, are nice and light, comfortable and do not bunch up in your shoes. They are cool to wear. It was in the mid 30's C the entire trip. They absorb sweat but do not feel wet like cotton does and are perfect for wearing in dress shoes as well as casual use. They are not as cushy as the hiker socks, but they are not meant to be since they are a dress sock. I love them and wear them for everything.

Love them! They're soft, light and stay up all day. They're also not too tight at the top. I'll buy them again.
