J.B. Field's Icelandic 'Thermal Hiker II' Merino Wool Sock

These socks are great and I wear them for warmth when I need something a little less bulky than the -30 Icelandic socks. The sizing is a bit smaller than the Icelandics, so bear that in mind.

Excellent warm wool socks, very well made. Thick enough to be warm inside my boots for barn days, not so thick that my boots feel tight. They’re talk enough to add an extra layer of warmth and they don’t slip down inside my boots. Glad I took a chance on this *Canadian* company, I will order again.

Great socks! Fit great, hold their shape after multiple washings, warm and comfortable inside hiking boots in the cold and wet without being too bulky.
