Fun to Knit

I have read through the pattern. Once I got past the chart's using non-standard notation, the patterns are logical and easy to follow. I am starting off by doing a rectangular scarf using only the central pattern repeat from chart B. I am using Noro Silk Garden Sock Yarn, and it is a bit of a busy yarn for a detailed pattern, which is why I have chosen the simpler central pattern. The repeat is easy to memorise and looks good made up. I think this is a stunning pattern, and with a plainer yarn I am looking forward to doing the complete shawl in the near future.
