I've made bags before, but never with a gusset. I quickly viewed a video about sewing gussets and after that it was easy. I made two of these and both toddlers seem to enjoy them. They were easy to make.

I had so much fun making this little bag right from choosing the fabrics to finding a cute little toy for the pocket. My grand daughter Bella is 18 months & loves handbags. She loves the little pocket with the soft "friend". The bag is small enough that you will probably find enough fabric in your stash to use.
