Flawless construction & design. Pistol is VERY secure, yet affords smooth draw. So comfortable you forget it’s there right after putting it on. This thing is almost a work of art! Well worth the wait!

The rigidity of kydex with the comfort and tradition of leather
Horsehide is thin and stiff, like kydex. It’s probably more durable since it doesn’t crack. With a great deal of use, it will conform somewhat to your body, making it more comfortable than kydex. It’s only downside is that it can be noisy, but this, too, improves with use.
