Wabi Compact Drop Bar, 26mm

Excellent bars and service!

These bars are so fantastic. I have them mounted on my classic steel Raleigh Super Course frame built with some modern Ultegra 10s kit using the newer hood design and bar routed cables. The bars have a nicely placed cable channel to neatly seat the cables under the bar tape. The bend is also perfect. I used them to replace a set of classic Sakae Anatomical bend bars that had way too deep of a drop and long reach. These Wabi bars give a great modern compact bar design with super comfortable drops, a shorter reach, and tight bend to keep you in a comfortable position in any hand placement. It’s so nice to be able to run my classic steel bike with a modern cockpit set up and ergonomics. Highly highly recommend this set of bars if you are trying to achieve a modern geo and fit while maintaining your quill stem and classic steel frame! Also, Wabi recognized an error in the shipping charges from my order and quickly issued me a refund of the difference before I even noticed. They could have kept that cash and I’d never know, but they sent me a quick email and explained everything. Shipping was quick too. Very happy.

Good value, did what I needed them to do

More comfortable for me with the shorter reach and less of a drop. A little bit of a shame there's no textured area where they clamp to the stem (to aid in centering and securing the bars in place) but this has not proven to be a huge issue.
