I had been meaning to get a new coffee maker for awhile, and the option to get a burr grinder along with it just made sense. The American Press suits me perfectly. I make a great-tasting cup of coffee every morning, without any grit or sludge at the bottom of my mug, and the cleanup is easy.

I've been using the American Press and Encore grinder for about a month now, and everything about it is great - online transaction was easy and seamless, delivery was quick, the grinder was discounted (I looked around before purchasing) and if you do a little research you'll see that it's considered the best basic grinder around, which after a month of use I believe to be true, and of course the American Press really does make a perfect cup of coffee, and is super easy to clean, so all my "research" hehe into finding the best system for making coffee at home was well worth it!
