Saved my foot

I got this boot so that I would have a good looking boot for Motorcycling. I wanted to support an American made boot so I purchased the Vanguard over the Captain. The boots fit well and look good. Unfortunately, I was involved in a motorcycle crash while wearing my vanguards. The thick and strong leather heel prevented my foot from being impaled and saved my right foot from more serious damage. I will always be grateful for the quality and construction of this boot as it saved my right foot.
