Made my first batch of Slivovitz Plum Brandy on my own. Simple directions and worked so well. Used gas heat. Impressed with the stainless and copper workmanship, and the Still looks so pretty. Can't wait to run it again !!

Exceeded Expectations

I am not easily impressed, but the quality of this still far exceeded my expectations. Many stills I researched were 22 or 20 gauge stainless. This is 16 gauge and incredibly sturdy. The column feels like it is at least 1/8" thick copper and could be used to drive nails it's so heavy. The whole thing weighs about 50 lbs. I purchased a 3" cap on Amazon, inserted a rubber stopper and airlock and I'm using the boiler as a fermenter. There were several features not even mentioned in the description, like a heavy removable screen in the copper column. This will last many generations if cared for properly. Well worth every penny.
