Although it did protect the red little rocks put dents in the leather so if the film was a bit thicker that could have been prevented or nearly not as bad. I will suggest extreme caution taking it off to not tear the leather.

Not worth it product does not adhere to sole, thought maybe I wasn't using it properly took it to the shoe cobbler for professional fix and it didn't work either. Waste of money.
