Berkey Phoenix Filter Elements - New Millennium Edition

Berkey Phoenix Gravity filters

We’ve only used the new Phoenix Gravity filters for a few days, but they filter water much faster than the Black Berkey Filters. I wondered if this was normal and looked at the q and a on the Berkey website and, indeed, fast filtering is normal. I assume over time it will slow as more elements are filtered out of our well water.

The filters came in great time and shape. I’ve not installed yet, but all Berkey filters in the past have been very easy to install, so I don’t foresee a problem there.

The filters work great! When I put them in, they filtered water extremely quickly. I used the dye that came with them to see if they worked. It did!
