World Famous Strawberry Shortcake Slice

The cake was so good, it did not disappoint!! I will be returning to get more of this yummy treat. I want to thank Kennedy B. for responding to a previous review I left about a not so great experience with cup cakes. She made it right even though she did not have to. I will continue to be a Freed’s customer.

This really is a lovely cake! The white cake, the whipped cream frosting and filling are my absolute favorite! Everything just melts, until you have a piece of strawberry then, the profile changes in that bite. I’m more of a fan of the cake itself vice the strawberries inside the cake. If I could change anything with Teri’s strawberry shortcake cake, I would blend the strawberries with the whipped cream for the filling. I’d prefer little bites of strawberries vice the slices. I also think doing this would keep the cake more stable when cutting into it with a fork for a bite. Either way, delicious cake!
