Good shoe but competitors are better

For a "barefoot" shoe, the upper is thick and stiff. It feels far more like a regular shoe - even with the sock-like design - than nearly all the competing shoes. I've tried several other brands and, sorry to say, I prefer them because they are more minimalist. That said, the shoe seems to be well made and it fits comfortably. I will take some breaking them in, and for my feet to get used to the thick uppers, so I may yet come to love them. For the time being though, it is two stars.

My very first pair, and no breaking in was needed! I previously tried another similar brand which cost double the price, but it was no way as comfortable as this pair. Very good for wide feet also. Will buy more if I see new designs.

Top notch shoes and world class customer support and company practice

The shoes are comfortable, flexible and provide a great ground feel. But the biggest praise is actually the customer service and a company standing behind their product. I had a minor defect in my batch 1 pre order pair. As soon as I reached out to the company, they informed me that they had become aware of the weak point and reinforced it for future batches. They immediately arranged a replacement pair to be sent out, and the lacing anchors had been reinforced as they claimed. The newer pair is now truly perfect, and I’ll happily purchase shoes from them again
