it is good to have a replacement nib for just incase a roll or a slip happens to bend the nib, plus a selection of nibs that will suit all writing needs xfine/fine/medium/broad/&+ a "bent" nib without buying a whole new pen, i recommend that everyone should invest in extra nibs

Last writing instrument.

This is a lovely pen that elevates your writing literally and figuratively. The only limitation I find is that I would not recommend exposing it to extreme winter cold (-15c or lower) in a purse or backpack as it seems to make it leak into the cap. I have had this happen with other fountain pens so it’s not unique to this brand. Obviously, the abominable snow man must use a pencil for his correspondence. 😉
