Essential Moisturizer

A sleeper hit

I wasn’t prepared to like this moisturizer as much as I do. It’s like a better version of Tata Harper’s the rich crème… clean, deeply hydrating but not oily. Perfect for Toronto’s wildly erratic weather if you spend time outdoors daily, like walking a dog or chasing a kid. Lightly scented, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.

Worth every penny.

Applying this moisturiser is worth getting out of bed for, a ritual I upheld with great enthusiasm every morning! Its natural botanical scent is otherworldly and not overwhelming. No chemical undertones and the effect of daily use is apparent immediately after application. Highly recommend.

There is a simplicity, elegance, refinement, and beauty to LESSE that is endearing to me. I also use their Mist and Calming Cleanser. I am drawn to the clean scents, the healing effects on my skin, and how my face just takes in the products with such joy! The line has a statement, "Ritual, not routine". This is how I feel each time I come to take care of my face in the morning and night using products from LESSE. It feels like a sacred ritual, a practice with intention and feelings. I use this as my day and night time moisturizer. As an outdoor, long distance runner, my face deals with a lot, especially during the Winter months of running! So far this Winter, using this moisturizer has kept it well hydrated. I would say this is the first time I discovered an ideal Winter Moisturizer for my face.
