Better then expected !

I'm very impressed with the strength and quality of these beds. Everything came well packed and parts were easy to organize. Assembly was fairly simple with the help of my teenage son. I would recommend you have a rubber mallet and a cordless screwdriver on hand, you will need it. The end result is a very hansom well designed and ruggedly constructed bed. I'm very happy with my purchase and the caring customer support I have received. 5 STARS!

While I think the bed is solid the latter is way to narrow for an adult body to climb up. Knowing what I know now, I wish i choose the step option . I think your description needs to disclose how narrow the ladder is and offer insights that compare the benefits and limitations of the ladder vs having stairs.
