Sage green is pale, more like mint green

This is my 2nd time buying Mellanni sheets. The first time I wanted the sage color but they were out of stock in the sheet type I wanted. So I was excited to get the sage green sheets. However, they are not nearly as dark and a rich shade as in the photo. They are much more like a light mint green than sage. I tried to include a photo--my phone camera doesnt quite capture the color the same, but you can see they are much lighter in hue than the product photos. Maybe its because the regular cotton sheets are darker in the green than these flannel ones are, since the fabric on these is thicker but presumably they dont up the dye concentration to account for that? Regardless, I like the feel of the sheets, and they didnt tear upon initial wash (I had that happen with a pair of brand new expensive Costco sheets once!) Time will tell how they hold up but for now I'm happy with them, pale color aside.
