I recently purchased the Resolute DS 6000. I held off a little while to put it through some charter use before giving a review. Throughout the month, we targeted 30+ pound Redfish and Jack Crevelle and all I can say is wow does this reel perform! The the Resolute DS is a tough, quality built reel that I would definitely recommend to anyone! The overall fit, function, finish, and smoothness of this reel is worth every penny of its affordable pricing! You get top-notch quality in a working man’s priced reel. I own many FFP reels and this is the first resolute DS model that I have purchased; Without question, I will be adding more of these models to my arsenal.
