Tonic Studios 4" Decoupage Detail Scissors

NOT FOR THICK CARDSTOCK OR RIBBON

If you use 110lb or greater cardstock for embellishments get Tim Holtz snips for fussy cutting, also made by Tonic. These don't work for cutting heavier papers, They might be okay for thread and twine, anything thin. I tried to cut paper toweling, half the time it only creased the towel without cutting. I wouldn't use them for ribbon either, they'll bind the ribbon in the snips. It maybe I received a defective pair, but they do work on 20lb paper.

I love Tonic and my checkbook will back me up. But these scissors were a bust. Maybe I was using them incorrectly but I couldn't get them to cut properly.
